Fun Events in Downtown Chandler This Winter
Chandler is an amazing town to live in or to visit, especially during the holiday season. Our weather in the winter is mild, with average highs in the 60s and 70s during the day. It’s the perfect season to enjoy some outdoor shopping, followed by lunch or dinner at your favorite eatery. Our downtown area is full of cozy shops and delicious restaurants, and there are also quite a few good winter events and activities coming up!e
Four Fun Winter Events in Chandler, Arizona
1: The Winter Farmers Market
Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm
The Downtown Chandler Farmers Market has a lot more than just vegetables! At 10 am there is a donation yoga class that is perfect for all levels. After getting your heart rate up with a little yoga practice, be sure to wander the stalls. The market has many artisan vendors as well as access to the amazing brick-and-mortar shops around downtown Chandler.
2: SHE Power 10K & 5K
Sunday, January 26th at 8 am
Love to run? This event is the largest all-female running event in Arizona. Its goal is to empower women of all ages and running abilities. If you are not into running, or you want to support a female runner in your life, joining in to cheer them on is a great way to spend your day. After working up an appetite, we suggest coming in to DC STEAKHOUSE for a relaxing dinner to round out your day.
3: Ostrich Festival
2025 Dates TBD
Typically hosted in March, this festival is a Chandler favorite. Tumbleweed Park will be filled with ostrich-themed activities, a fun and exciting carnival, live music, and local performers. In 2024 alone we had over 100,000 visitors. So, come rain or shine, join us in the festivities!
4: Play Some Golf
On your time!
Chandler is known for its many golf courses. The most difficult part of playing a round is carrying your bag to the car! If you are looking to golf for a good cause, join us in March for our upcoming charity event.
